Instructor Profile

Scott has been training in various martial arts and defence systems for over 25 years and has had the privilege of training with some of the top names in martial arts in the UK as well as abroad.

Instructors such as: Tuhon Pat O'Malley,Dayang Lucy O'Malley,

Tuhon Nigel Herterich,Tuhon Jon Broster,SGM Dionisio Canẽte,

Master Eric Amada,GM Danny Guba,Guro Maul Mournie,

Sifu Paul Smith and Master Samuel Kwok are to name just a few.

Scott has knowledge in western boxing becoming army welterweight champion in 1989 till 1992, as well as being an Instructor in Military Style Aikido has also gained second level grade in Takashi Mitsui Freestyle Aikido.

Scott is the Head Instructor for Rapid Arnis in Scotland, the Head Representative (level 2) Instructor for Rapid Response Edged Weapons Defence System in Scotland and also the Head Representative for the Black Eagle Society in Scotland.

He is currently studying Iaido under David Mclean,3rd Dan(Sandan) of  Genbukan Edinburgh, Learning the art of Swordsmanship through kata, and also teaches the use of many other Weapons and Empty Hands techniques.
